Terms of use

You represent and warrant that you are of legal age to enter into a legally binding contract in India (or, if you are not, that you have obtained permission from your parent or guardian to use the App and that they have agreed to these Terms on your behalf). It is against our Terms to register an account with false information, including accounts created on behalf of third parties or individuals younger than eighteen.

Before using our App, you may need to create an account by entering the requested information (such as your name, bio, photo, email address, location if you allow location access, and other registration information).

The one-time password (OTP) sent to your connected device is the only way to activate an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and OTP.

During registration, you consent to:

1. Give accurate, comprehensive, and up-to-date information;

2. Prevent unauthorised access to your account by keeping your password private;

3. Not divulge or abuse your login information;

4. Take full responsibility and liability for your account activity and how you use our App.

If any of the information you provide is false, incomplete, or fraudulent, we reserve the right to suspend or cancel your account.

We may, in our sole and absolute discretion, modify the terms and conditions of this Agreement in whole or in part at any time for any reason. By posting the updated Terms or notifying you by other means, we will give you notice of the changes. Unless otherwise specified, the amended Terms will take effect immediately. You accept and consent to be bound by the updated Terms if you continue using our App after we have published or informed you of them. By ceasing your use of our App, you have the right to disagree with any changes.

The accuracy, completeness, copyright compliance, legality, decency of content, and timeliness of any content cannot be guaranteed. The App's content is made available with the understanding that neither we nor users are engaged in rendering legal, counselling, medical, or other professional services or advice. The App is not meant to be used for medical diagnosis or treatment of any specific issue, nor is it meant to be a replacement for medical or healthcare advice. Always consult your doctor or another qualified healthcare professional before beginning any new treatment or discussing any medical condition.

The App will be delivered 'as is' and 'as available'. We make no express or implied warranties and hereby disclaim all other warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a specific purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other rights violations.

All content, text, data, graphics, images, information, recommendations, advice, and other material available on the App is provided solely for informational purposes. We do not offer any professional advice on the App, and you should not interpret or use any information you get from it as medical advice. Nothing on the App is meant to establish a doctor-patient relationship or serve as a substitute for a licensed physician's or trained health professional's advice. You hereby consent to refrain from basing any health or medical decision, in whole or in part, on anything found in our App's content.

You give us and our affiliates a non-exclusive licence to use any content you share, post, upload, or otherwise submit on our App, including original content. This licence is limited to the purpose of operating, improving, promoting, and providing the Ville platform and related services. We will not use your content for purposes materially beyond this scope without seeking your additional consent.

For your personal, non-commercial use, we grant you a nonexclusive, non-transferable, revocable, limited licence to view, copy, print, and distribute content retrieved from our App, as long as you do not remove or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights notices. Without our prior written consent, you are not permitted to use any content accessible through our App in any other way or for any other purpose.

You understand that all content, including information, videos, ideas, proposals, plans, pictures, messages, or other materials, is entirely your responsibility. You are solely responsible for any content you upload, publish, post, share, or send through our App.

You acknowledge that we may moderate, edit, restrict, or remove any content at our sole discretion that we reasonably believe violates any of these Terms or is harmful or objectionable in any way, with or without notice.

You are aware that while using our App you may be exposed to content that might be inaccurate, offensive, or indecent. We do not endorse, warrant, or make any representations concerning the completeness, truthfulness, accuracy, or reliability of any content posted via our App

Links to other websites may be found on our App; for instance, user profiles, stories, and other posts may contain links to other websites. You visit third-party websites at your own risk. We do not control or endorse those websites.

Ville acts solely as a facilitation and information platform for community events, meetups, playdates, and similar activities organised through the App. Ville does not guarantee the safety, suitability, quality, or conduct of any third-party event organiser, venue, speaker, or participant.

Participation in any community event or offline activity is voluntary and undertaken at the participant's own discretion and risk. Parents and guardians remain solely responsible for the supervision and safety of their children during any such activity.

In the event of a physical incident, safety concern, or emergency during any Ville-facilitated activity, users should immediately contact local emergency services and notify Ville at the contact address provided below.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we (including our directors, officers, employees, agents, partners, or licensors) will not be liable for any damages arising from your use of or in connection with our App. This exclusion includes (a) all forms of damages (direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary); (b) any lost profits, revenue, reputation, business opportunities, or any data loss; or (c) any conduct or content of other users or third parties on our App.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claims in connection with these Terms or our App shall not exceed in the aggregate the amount you have paid to us for using our App, if any.

Liability for death, personal injury, fraud, wilful misconduct, and cases of gross negligence in which a material obligation has been broken are all exempt from these limitations of liability.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless us (including our directors, officers, employees, agents, partners, or licensors) from and against any and all losses, liabilities, demands, damages, costs, claims, and expenses, including legal fees, that result from or are connected to your use of our App, including but not limited to your user-generated content and breach of these Terms and any third-party rights.

The appearance and feel of the App, as well as the designs, trademarks, service marks, trade names, graphics, and logos used in connection with it, belong to us and are protected by patents, copyrights, trademarks, and other proprietary rights and laws of India. We reserve all intellectual property rights to, title to, licence, and interest in the content accessible through the App.

In particular, you represent and warrant that your use of our App:

1. Will adhere rigorously to these Terms as well as all relevant legal and regulatory requirements;

2. Will not be utilised to promote illegal activity, publish illegal content, or serve any other unlawful purpose;

3. Will not infringe or improperly use someone else's copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret, or other proprietary rights;

4. Will not post, publish, or comment that encourages violence against someone based on their appearance, background, or identity; incites hatred; encourages discrimination; or disparages people based on their race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, age, nationality, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender, or gender identity;

5. Will not upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code;

6. Will not collect or track or divulge information about which you do not have permission;

7. Will not be used to send any unauthorised advertising, promotional materials, spam, junk mail, or any other type of unsolicited mass communications;

8. Will not use or attempt to use another person's account, fabricate a false identity, misrepresent your identity, or create a profile for someone other than yourself;

9. Will obtain permission from the content owner before copying, using, displaying, or distributing any information obtained from our App.

Ville maintains zero tolerance for any exploitation of minors. Any such activity will result in immediate account termination and may be reported to relevant law enforcement.

For as long as your account is active, we keep your provided information and documentation. We will remove your content from public view and delete your account information if you delete your account; however, some data may be kept in archived form for a reasonable period of time for legal, compliance, fraud prevention, or legitimate business purposes in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

You can use your account settings to remove your account at any time. Your content will no longer be accessible to the public upon account deletion, and your account information will be handled in compliance with our privacy policy. We may immediately suspend or terminate your access to all or any part of our App at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or other applicable guidelines. All clauses in this Agreement that by their nature shall survive termination, such as ownership, warranty, disclaimers, indemnity, and liability limitations, shall do so.

By accessing or using our App, you agree that these Terms and your relationship with us shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

Dispute Resolution: All disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of our App shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (as amended), under the auspices of the Indian Council of Arbitration, New Delhi. The arbitration shall be conducted in English, and the arbitral award shall be final and binding on the parties. Judgment on the award may be entered and enforced in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Seat and Jurisdiction: The seat of arbitration shall be New Delhi. Subject to the above arbitration framework, the courts at New Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising out of or in relation to these Terms or your use of our App.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us concerning our App. The validity and enforceability of the remaining parts of these Terms are unaffected if any portion of it is unlawful, void, or unenforceable. If we do not take action to enforce a breach, that does not mean that we have waived our right to enforce this contract. Without our permission, you are not permitted to assign or transfer this contract (or your use of our App) to anyone. We may assign this contract to our affiliates or a third party that purchases it without your permission.
